Traffic Controller Combo Course
Combined Traffic Management courses:
We are offering a discounted price for Traffic Controller courses plus a Traffic Implementer at a discounted price on the same day. Please note practical live assessment is an additional day.
Course Structure
- Step One: Self-paced learning consists of videos and short answer questions, approximately 4-8 hours (varies per trainee’s relevant knowledge and skills). You must complete this activity prior to the course commencement. The purpose of the home learning is to provide you an oppurtunity to familiarise with the course content.
- Step Two: Classroom training consists of learning and assessment activities. Upon successfully completing the course requirements, you will be issued a Statement of Completion approved by SafeWork NSW to commence employment as a traffic controller up to 90 days.
- Step Three: To obtain a traffic controller and traffic implementer cards (TCWT card) from SafeWork NSW and a Statement of Attainment for the skillset, you are required to complete a live practical assessment within 90 days. The live practical assessment will be conducted on an additional day from your face-to-face training to meet SafeWork NSW requirements. Upon completion of the live assessment, you will receive an unrestricted TCWT from SafeWork NSW allowing you to work as a Traffic Controller/Traffic Implementer in NSW. Course Structure for White Card
- Step One: Classroom training consists of learning and assessment activities. Upon successfully completing the course requirements, you will be issued a Statement of Completion approved (valid for 60 days) by SafeWork NSW to commence employment in the construction industry and a Statement of Attainment.
- Step Two: Receive White Card in the mail within 4 weeks of course completion.

Traffic Controller (TCR)
Formerly known as Blue Card, our Traffic Controller course is an entry point into the traffic control industry. Also referred to as the ‘stop and go’ course, it equips you with the skills to understand and manage stopping and starting traffic using a stop/slow bat, portable traffic light, or boom gate.

Course Information
This course is for individuals responsible for traffic management on a site and road workers under their direction.
Upon completion of the course, a participant will be responsible for setting up, monitoring, and closing down traffic guidance schemes or work zone Traffic Management Plans. The course will also allow you to Position, set up, and program portable traffic control devices.
It applies to supervisory roles. These roles generally involve working in teams in live traffic environments and sharing some responsibility for others’ outcomes.

Practical Assessment
This is a 1 day course. You must have completed your TCR, IMP or COMBO course at Allies Training Centre, before you book for the practical assessment. You will be turned away and your fee will not be refunded if you book without reading requirements.
Time: 10:30am – 4:30pm
Practical Assessment is a 1 day course, you must complete your practical assessment and book for it after you complete your learning. You must bring your 100 points of ID again.
Minimum of 5 days required for cancellations – no exceptions!
